Disaster.com Tornado Infographic

I created an informational graphic about the danger of tornadoes and what to do to prepare for them forĀ disaster.com. I began with brainstorming and sketching what exactly I’d like to include in the graphic. I then researched various tornado facts and statistics to fill in the data for each individual section. Next, I came up with a color palette to use. My thinking was that tornadoes are generally associated with the midwest, and the midwest is often associated with orange and red hues. I put everything together to get the final product, seen below.
